The following is a description of the routes to each site used by LDA in 2008. The list is in alphabetical order and not in chronological order.
Take A46 north from Leicester, then A607 S/P Melton Mowbray. At Rotherby, turn left onto the Wreake and Asfordby road. Upon reaching Asfordby, turn left and immediate right onto the Asfordby by-pass. At the roundabout, turn right towards Asfordby village and the site is approx. half mile on the right.
From Leicester, take the A47 to Hinckley. Follow A47 Ring Road to junction with B4667, Ashby Road. Turn left onto Ashby Road and then turn right into Hangman’s Lane. Site is at the end of the lane.
Follow A5 west to Tamworth. After crossing the M42 junction turn left onto Watling Street (signed Two gates). Turn left onto A4091, signed Coleshill.Road. After passing entrance to Drayton Park, take 2nd right through Drayton Bassett village following Salts Lane & Drayton Lane. Turn left at end of village onto Portleys Lane. Site is on the right.

Barnsdale Car Park, Rutland Water
Take A47 East from Leicester towards Uppingham. At roundabout turn left onto A6003 for approx. 6 miles. Turn right onto A606 S/P Stamford. Turn right at staggered crossroads and follow signs for Barnsdale Car-Park

From Nottm A52, take RH lane at dual carriageway & turn right into Barrowby at brow of hill.
From Melton A607, at Harlaxton turn left just before the Gregory ArmsPH. Follow road for approx. 2 miles to Barrowby.
From A1 both directions, leave at A52 exit signed Nottingham and follow signs to Barrowby.
Take the A515 from Ashbourne towards Buxton. Turn left, opposite the Service Station, onto the single track access road (passing points available). Proceed up the hill to the site and follow the LDA signs.

Take the A60 North from Loughborough to the village of Costock. Turn right into the village to the pub and follow DA signs to the site. Post Code: LE12 6XF
Take the A5199 from Leicester (Welford Road) to Husbands Bosworth. Cross over the A427 and continue on the A5199 for approx. 1 mile. Turn left onto unclassified road, Sibbertoft Road, and turn left into airfield. Follow LDA signs to site.
Proceed NW along A50 to Markfield. Keep straight on at roundabout and take 1st slip road on left. Keep right at next junction and follow B587 S/P Copt Oak. The site is on the right after approx. 1 mile, behind the village hall
From Leicester, take the M69 to Jnct 1. T.L. onto A5 (South) for approx. 1 M. T.L. onto B578 S/P Burbage. Site is on R in approx. 1M. (Take care - sharp turn into site)
Take M1 north from Leicester to junction 24. Follow signs to Castle Donington. In centre turn right S/P Kingsmill. Site is on the right after approx. 1½ mile.
Fosseway Farm, Moreton-in-Marsh
From the A429, pass through Moreton-in-Marsh and the site is the next drive by the service station.

From Leicester, take A6 Loughborough Road. At roundabout at the end of the Mountsorrel/Quorn by-pass, turn left towards Quorn. At traffic lights, turn right and follow GCR signs to site on left in approx. ¾ mile.
From Leicester, take the B4114 (Narborough Road) to the junction with the A5. Turn left onto the A5 and take next left S/P Claybrooke Magna. Immediately turn left and right into the site entrance.
Take the M69 to Coventry and follow the A46 S/P Warwick. Leave the A46 onto the A45 towards Birmingham. Turn right onto the A4114 and follow brown & white caravan signs.

From Leicester, take the A46 North for approx 13M. Follow signs to Upper Broughton & Nether Broughton. In Nether Broughton T/L S/P Long Clawson & Hose. Site is behind the village hall in Hose. Take care entering site as the entrance has a steep slope
Take A47 form Leicester to Kings Lynn. Approx. 1½ mile after crossing A10, turn right S/P North Runcton. Site is on the left after appox. 100 yards.
Take A47 east from Leicester towards Uppingham. At roundabout turn left onto A6003 for approx. 3 miles. Turn right S/P Manton and Edith Weston. In approx. 2 miles turn left S/P Visitor Centre. Site is approx. 400 yards on right.
Take A46 north from Leicester. After approx. 9 miles turn left S/P Seagrave. Continue to far end of village and turn right onto Green Lane. Site is approx. 50 yards on left.
When approaching Skegness on the A52, the site is on the left. Look for LDA and commercial road signs.

Stragglesthorpe, Thorntons Holt
Take A46 north from Leicester and turn left onto unclassified road signposted Radcliffe on Trent. Site is on the right.
Take the A46 bypass north to the Hobby Horse r/bout. Follow the A46 north to the next junction and take the slip road signed Melton Mowbray. Follow the Melton signs to the A607. At the r/bout, follow the signs to the centre of Queniborough (beware speed bumps). Straight across cross-roads and site is on the left after approx. 1/2 mile

From M1 J30, take A619 to Worksop. At first r/bout, turn right on A57 towards Lincoln. Follow signs for Sundown Adventureland. Follow signs for Laneham and then Church Laneham. Site is on the right approx 300 yards after the Meadow House.

Take M69 to junction with A5. Turn right onto A5. Follow A5 to A444. Turn right onto A444. Turn left onto Wellsborough Road, B685, S/P Sheepy Parva & Magna. In Sheepy Parva bear right onto Mill Lane to Sheepy Magna. Turn right onto Twycross Road. Site is on the left.

Leave Leicester south on A426 to Lutterworth. In Lutterworth, turn right onto B577 through Bitteswell in the direction of Ullesthorpe. Site is on the left after approx. 2 miles.
Follow A6 to r/bout junction with A6004 (new Loughborough access road). Turn left toward Quorn and turn right at traffic lights. Site is on the right approx. 100 yards after railway bridge.

Take A428 South from Leicester to Blaby by-pass. Do not take the by-pass but proceed through Blaby village heading for Willoughby Waterleys. Approx. 1 mile past Countesthorpe College (on your right), turn right to Whetstone Gorse. The site is on the left approx. 1/2 mile along track.

Leave Leicester on B4114 (Narborough Road) to the A5 junction. Turn right onto A5 and immediately turn left back onto the B4114 for approx. 2 miles. Bear left onto B4109 for 1/2 mile. Continue on B4065 (Coventry Road) for 1/2 mile and turn left onto local road. Ensure that you follow LDA direction signs as there is another rally at the farm next door (Villa Farm).
Take A46 north from Leicester for approx. 12 miles. Turn left onto A6006 S/P Wymeswold and Rempstone. After approx. 2 miles, turn sharp right S/P Willoughby. The site is on the right after approx. 200 yards.
